An unofficial podcast about the Wonka-verse from two people who didn't think they cared about Willy Wonka until they learned a prequel was being made and it rocked their world. You may think, how much is there to say about Wonka, the most forgettable and most memorable franchise? More than you would ever believe. Join us as we count down to the day of the Wonka Rapture, December 2023.

Jun 15, 2022

Ceci n’est pas une Wonka. Ou, peut-être? Eh, je ne sais pas. Ahem, now that we’ve flexed our high school French, let’s talk about something else pretentious: philosophy! We review some essays from philosophers discussing Roald Dah’s work, specifically Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Ruby Tuesday’s somehow gets in the mix as well, so we remain as sophisticated as always.
